SALON POLICIES

Cancellation Policy.

We require 24 hours notice for cancellation of your scheduled services in order to avoid a late cancellation fee. Clients cancelling with less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will be required to pay 50% of the services reserved in order to continue booking services at Solarium Point.

If you have booked your appointment with less that 24 hours between your booking time and scheduled appointment you are required to cancel 3 hours before your service start time to avoid the late cancellation fee. 

Appointments booked with less than 3 hours of time between when the appointment was made, and when the appointment was scheduled to take place are not subject to this policy. 

Please note that cancellations can only be made through calling the salon, email or replying to our booking confirmation text.

Late Arrivals.

If you think you may be late for your appointment, please call the salon and let us know. We will call any late clients 5 minutes into their scheduled start time, but if we have not been able to contact you, your appointment time may be reopened and/or given away. If you show up late for your appointment your services may be altered to fit the remaining time. If this happens you will still be responsible for the full amount of the services booked. 

 

No Shows.

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointments, without contacting the salon to cancel, you will be subject to pay 50% of the services reserved. You will be also be required to to pay a 20% deposit to secure any future bookings. Please note that to cancel your appointments during Solarium Point's opening hours, we do require a phone call in order to late cancel your appointments. 

Clients who no show on more than one occasion will be required to pay in full before any appointments are booked, unless they have a service bundle to cover the services.

 

Services.

We have a no refund policy on services completed at our salons. We offer complimentary fixes within 7 days of the service completion pending management approval. 

 

Products.

Unused/unopened retail products/tools may be refunded within 7 days of purchase. We offer an exchange or salon credit for up to 14 days. 

 

Bundles.

Bundles, once purchased, are non-refundable. The value of the remaining services on a package may be returned for salon credit pending management approval. Once a service bundle has been returned you are not able to purchase that bundle again. 

Service bundles all have an expiry date associated with them and after this time is up, any unused services will no longer be available for use.

 

Lengthy + Multiple Services.

Any bookings spanning longer than 3 hours, or group bookings for 3 people or more must be secured by paying a 20% deposit. In event of late cancellations or no shows the deposit will be non refunded as outlined in our policies above. 

Specialist Services.

Please note a 20% deposit is required to secure a booking for specialist treatments - Microblading, Colour Correction, Botox and Filler. In event of late cancellations or no shows the deposit will be non refunded as outlined in our policies above. 

Kids.

With regret due to health and safety regulations please consider making other arrangements for your children when you come for your treatment. A salon is not the safest place for a child, since hot tools, very sharp objects, and chemicals are in regular use. Our staff are unable to carry out your treatment if they also need to keep an eye on child safety. We as a salon want to ensure that both you and our other clients receive a relaxing treatment. Therefore if on arrival at salon for treatment you have children under 12 with you, your treatment will need to be cancelled – this is for the benefit of your children and all clients. We thank you for your support and understanding in this matter.

Sorry Puppers!

Look, we love your puppers... but were  a people salon (sigh) so you'll have to leave your four legged friend at home when you visit us. 

While we wish we didn't have to discriminate against the better species, it is against health standards to have them in our treatment rooms and areas where services are being held. We also have to respect our clients who may not be as comfortable around animals as we are, 

If you bring your pup to your service, you will have to leave them outside or take them home before you can have services completed. If this results in you having to miss or cancel your appointment, policy fees will be applied. 

* Service animals are an exception, however please let us know in advance as we will have to arrange a time you can have your appointment in a private room or when there are no other clients in the salon. 

*This restriction also applies to cats, birds, alligators, kangaroos and any other animals.
